In line with the government’s call to rehabilitate and preserve the country’s natural resources, SMCC Philippines, Inc., in partnership with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), actively participated in the Manila Bay Clean-Up Drive in 2019. This initiative gathered SMCC employees, and MMDA personnel to take part in cleaning the shores of Manila Bay, collection of waste materials, and promoting proper waste management practices. Participants worked hard to remove plastic debris, segregate collected garbage, and restore sections of the bay’s coastline, reflecting a shared commitment to environmental sustainability.
